LaX Industries was originally founded in September of 2005 as LaX Fabricating, building structural steel buildings and asphalt equipment. Over the years, the company expanded into an industrial steel manufacturing company offering a wide range of industrial steel products.

In 2020, the company began a major rebranding and growth initiative with a focus on the energy field. This focus on structural steel for energy lead to expanded operations and the opening of a second facility in Westby, Wisconsin, in 2024.

In February of 2026, the company entered a new era under new ownership and officially became LaX Industries. Today, with a strong vision for the future, LaX Industries is investing in advanced technology, robotics, and automation while creating new jobs and building strategic partnerships with our clients that position the company for long-term growth and industry leadership.
